What Are The “Taking on Climate Change” Workshops?
In this workshop we explore practical steps to reduce our carbon footprint and work towards our community’s climate mitigation targets. Project Neutral’s online carbon-calculating tool makes it easy to measure your impact and take the first step towards meaningful action. Whether you’re a business owner, employee, community organizer, or simply a concerned citizen, our workshops welcome everyone.
We are building a better community through climate action and every business, organization, municipality and individual has a role to play! This workshop using the Project Neutral calculator enables individuals to better understand where their biggest emissions are coming from and how they can take action at home, in the community, and at work in order to make the largest impact.
We meet you where you are, whether you’re just beginning your sustainability journey or looking to deepen your understanding. Together, let’s make a positive impact and create a more equitable, prosperous, resilient, low-carbon community in Waterloo Region!
How Can I Get Involved?
1. Attend a Workshop with ClimateActionWR. Either sign up for a community workshop as an individual or request a workshop for your team! (See below for request forms)
2. Measure your carbon using the online carbon calculating tool. It only takes 5 minutes!
3. Directly reduce your greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions through energy saving home improvements and active, healthy habits which the tool will guide you through. Check out Reep Green Solutions’ Sustainable Living Blog and our Sustainability Resources page for ideas.
4. Share your low-carbon lifestyle with friends and neighbours. Share on social media and with your neighbours, family and friends. Feel free to tag @climateactionwr and @project_neutral

Looking to request a virtual or in-person workshop?
